SSNC Targets set for the coming year and work has started with the new council. Targets:Internal DevelopmentEnhancing communication through the reps to the Scottish BoardHelping local networks with image and publicity
The SSNC have had a busy month with an exec meeting to set the targets for the year and their first full council meeting on the 30th October at Lapwing Lodge near Paisley. The council is currently working on a guide leaflet to tell networkers exactly what they do for them and trying to find ways to make your reps more recognisable and approachable. Also, they are looking into the feasibility of creating a new line of Scottish Network branded clothing, new resources and ways to help promote local networks and improving the Scottish Scout Network website (http://www.scout-network.org.uk). If you have any suggestions or ideas for this, please contact your local rep. There are still regions without reps! We are still looking for reps from Clyde, Forth, Highlands and Islands and West regions, if you think you would be good for the job, contact your ARC(SN). Keep up to date on the SSNC, as soon as they are available, our minutes will be available at http://www.scout-network.org.uk Alan Martin SSNC Chairperson |
