The Glasgow Scouts Hills Forum are running a hill based events in January & March 2008.  Read on for more info....

25-27 January 2008 - Winter Skills Training, Cairngorms
14-16 March 2008 - Introduction to Navigation and Hill Skills, Meggernie

Transport will be available from the Glasgow area, and the above
events are subsidised so costs to individuals will be minimal.  We
also have a range of winter and summer equipment available for people
to borrow.

We are aiming to run a full programme of events monthly from
March-September to help people wanting to go forward for a Scout hills
activity permit assessment, or to progress to formal ML training, for
which funding is available.
