Get a little closer to nature as the Scout Network and Woodland Trust join forces to bring you a weekend on the picturesque island of Eilean Shona off the west coast of Scotland, not far from Fort William........

There's 15 places available for a weekend camp over 11th -13th April. Beginning on Friday afternoon you'll meet be ferried with your personal camping equipment to the island. You'll have a short walk to the camping area before setting up camp, dinner and campfire (Kit will be transported for you).

During the day on the Saturday you'll help plant oak saplings in a new wood before a barbeque, early evening stroll on the island (bring your camera) and campfire (bring your guitar if that's your thing)

On Sunday morning we've got some bushcraft for you to try out, wood turning, firelighting etc, not a power tool in site. It's then lunch and the ferry to the mainland.

 

Cost:

£15 per head including catering

What you need:

Personal Camping Equipment – including tentage to be co-ordinated between participants.

Activity Clothing

Ability to muck in and dig holes for trees!! (spades provided)
